Horsforth Town Hall – Phase two refurbishment successfully completed!

Following the successful delivery of the phase one refurbishment last year, Tom Willoughby were delighted to be re-engaged by Horsforth Town Council to undertake the phase two renovation works at Horsforth Town Hall.

This fast-paced project was completed successfully, delivering high-quality improvements within the agreed programme and budget, while ensuring the client’s requirements were met throughout.

Phase two refurbishment works included:
✅ Installation of new lighting throughout
✅ Replacement of radiators
✅ Upgraded toilet facilities
✅ New flooring finishes
✅ New doors and ironmongery
✅ Strip-out of existing electrical and mechanical systems
✅ Full redecoration of the second floor

We are proud to have continued our partnership with Horsforth Town Council and to have played a part in enhancing this important community building for future users.

Imagine learning surrounded by this 🏔️

Tom Willoughby are transforming a former Youth Hostel in Patterdale into an incredible immersive outdoor education centre for Delta Academies and progress is really taking shape!

The extension is progressing, new windows are in, and the team are hard at work on electrics, plastering and the finishing touches inside. All set against one of the most breathtaking corners of the Lake District.

We can’t wait to get this great facility up and running for Delta Academies trust and its lucky pupils.🌿✨

Work in Progress at Racecourse 🐎

We’re well underway on the refurbishment of the Weighing Room at and things are really starting to take shape on site.

The team have been cracking on with a full scope of works including strip out and demolition, structural alterations, new roof construction, M&E installations, windows, doors, finishes and external works.

With completion due at the end of March, just in time for the 2026 horse racing season, we’re keeping the momentum going, making sure every detail is right and finished on time.

Big shout out to the site team keeping it all on track, we can’t wait to see the finished result!

New Contract Announcement 📢

We’re delighted to share that Tom Willoughby has secured a new 12-month contract with NY Highways.

As the newly appointed maintenance provider for NY Highways plays a vital role in maintaining essential public facilities. We’re proud to assist them in delivering reliable, high-quality maintenance solutions across the region.

The contract will see our team deliver reactive and planned maintenance across North Yorkshire Council’s buildings, including schools, libraries, offices and elderly persons homes.
