Wash & Degrease works closely with businesses to try and find the most effective and efficient cleaning processes. Our systems can improve product finish, reduce manual input and can significantly speed up the manufacturing process.

Example

We recently worked with a company in Essex that manufactured high quality precision parts using a CNC machine. When the parts came out of the machine they were covered in grease and metal swarf. Before they had talked to us they had been washing the parts by hand then putting them into an ultrasonic machine.
Washing products by hand is not an efficient process and can often lead to a decrease in staff moral as it is a boring and strenuous task. The ultrasonic machine they had been using was not fit for purpose as it did not fully degrease the parts and left a dull finish.

We worked with them to try and find a solution and ended up installing two new machines within two weeks. The machine on the left (Lava 1050) cleaned up to 200 stainless steel parts at a time using a mix of our biodegradable detergent and hot pressurised water. After the wash cycle had finished (ten minutes) the parts were fully degreased and all swarf was removed. The machine on the right (Lava 820) was used to rinse the parts after they had been degreased. The Lava 820 used hot pressurised de-mineralised water for the rinse process to give the parts a shiny finish.

The business was incredibly impressed with our machines performance and commended our commitment and communication to their cause at all times.
