Automation on clients gates.

We got called to to put a full automation kit onto excising gates.

We used CAME ATI arm motors, fully programmed and set up through the mobile phone app.

All wiring, fitting and programming done in 1 day.

Bit of a different one for us this week at Haymarket in Edinburgh.

4 story structural staircase in for some much needed refurbishment.

This staircase was in a bad way due to stair tread support bars being heavily corroded along with some main structural beams and posts.

We spent 5 days in total going over this, removing, replacing and welding new parts in.

Friday fitting for us at PMC.

Fitting two pedestrian gates that have been made by our apprentice Cambell Marshall.

Cambell joined us 7 months ago and has been a great asset to the company. He previously had done a year at college doing an introduction to welding course. He has picked everything up very quickly and is well on his way to become a great tradesman.

To be 7 months into the job and be able to produce work of this standard is very impressive.

This week saw us complete the Aberdour super structure that we started at the beginning of this year.

This has been one of the biggest jobs we have had the pleasure to be involved in. Total weight of steel 12.7 tons.

All made in house at PMC to structural engineers drawings. UKCE EXC2 classification.

Big thanks to Rollo Developments for bringing us in to complete this super structure. I can’t thank them enough for giving us the opportunity to showcase our abilities and look forward to future projects.

Double story spiral staircase fitting for a customer in Edinburgh.

This has been a brilliant project to be involved in, with plenty of head scratching to finally getting the job completed today.

This job was fabricated and welding from the floor up on site due to access issues. A great test to our skills. As always the boys knocked the ball out the park.
