💙 Rest peacefully, Tony.

It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the passing of our founder and beloved mentor, Anthony Edmund Taylor.

Tony passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, 14th December, at the grand age of 86, surrounded by his loved ones.

AET exists today because of Tony’s vision and courage back in 1974. We take immense pride in continuing to uphold the foundation he built, celebrating 50 years of success inspired by his achievements in and passion for turbocharger engineering.

Since the turn of the century, when Tony entrusted the business to his son Andy, he has remained an integral part of AET. His frequent visits to HQ were always marked by his sharp wit, endless curiosity, and invaluable wisdom. Tony would often arrive armed with thoughtful questions and a willingness to share droplets of his unmatched knowledge.

A loving friend, husband, father and grandfather. He cherished his family and those close to him dearly.

His legacy will forever be at the heart of AET, and his memory will live on in everything we do.

The attached photograph sums up Mr Taylor perfectly, always smiling.

Xona by AET brand ambassador, Damien Bradley, of Team Legacy is hoping to compete in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 2025. 🤞

Over the winter months, the record-breaking 1992 Subaru Legacy will be receiving significant upgrades to tackle the harsh conditions expected at Pikes Peak, 14,000 feet above sea level in Colorado. A new turbo will be sent over to Damien and the team in the coming months, more information on what exactly we will be providing will be revealed soon. 💨

Damien is excited about the challenges ahead next year, he stated -
"Roll on 2025. With AET onboard again, it is shaping up to be our biggest season ever!" 😁
