Did You Know?

Buying a used attachment doesn't mean inheriting its examination history - or its problems.

Every attachment should carry a data plate confirming its Safe Working Load, and its Thorough Examination record should transfer with it. If either is missing when you buy second-hand, you're taking on equipment you can't fully verify - and as the current owner, the compliance responsibility sits with you regardless of who owned it before.

Before putting a used attachment into service, it's worth having it independently examined and re-plated if there's any doubt over its history.
