Got a new daily 😀
Can believe how well this drives for a car that is now 26 years old. They don't build them like this anymore.

*****Impact to modified cars*****
Below is a government consultation on making vehicles meet the EXACT emissions level that it left the factory with or it will fail, despite passing an MOT.
This is another part of their plan to force vehicles off the road and it will affect everything before 2016, I believe. This is huge, and EVERYONE needs to fill this out. It takes 10 mins, possibly less, because as soon as you state you’re opposing it, they allow you to skip to the end because the other 20 questions are all about supporting it (a telling story in itself!).

Please do not just ignore this.

Exhaust downpipe now finished apart from some heatwrap. Clearances are a little tight with a 3" system 😬

Apologies to anyone who has had difficulty getting hold of me recently but I currently have virtually no phone or data signal at my workshop. Apparently there's an issue with a phone mast nearby 🙄

Project Boxster Mongrel was originally a Tiptronic but I have converted it to manual transmission. This is the clutch hard line that runs from halfway along the left sill to the gearbox. Unfortunately the first time i tried to depress the clutch it burst the metal coil at the slave cylinder due to corrosion. This section of pipe was a fortune 🤑 from Porsche but with a little help from Resto Shack in Exeter we've managed to fit an Audi slave connection to the Porsche line. 😎👌

Turbo Boxster project is progressing slowly 🙄
Finally got it running yesterday so now on to the exhaust, cooling system and charge cooler set up. 😀
