Project Boxster Turbo coming soon 😃 Some of you may remember a previous post mentioning this engine swap from the Porsche M96 2.7 to an Audi 1.8T 20valve and also converting from Tiptronic to manual. I now have all of the required Manual parts (gearbox/clutch/gear lever & cables) which i initially plan to install with a standard 5 speed Boxster gearbox but will swap for an A4/A6/Passat transaxle box when i can pick one up as i feel the ratios will be more suited. It's all about the acceleration for me 😈 Planning to do some real word performance testing too so will see how much difference the gearbox makes. Initially it'll be running a standard Audi TT engine with a remap so around 270bhp but i have started building a 2ltr stroker motor which will use a Garrett G25-660 turbo and should be good for around 500bhp 🫣
