Steel frame up and roof going on at the latest phase of our ongoing works at Magna, specialist confectioners.

MSB Group has been delivering structural steel packages at the Magna site across multiple phases. This new pallet storage building is the next stage of that relationship - fabricated in-house at our Gloucestershire workshop and installed by the MSB site team.

The clear-span portal frame gives Magna the full floor area they need for pallet storage and internal logistics, with no structural columns interrupting the space.

More to follow as this phase progresses.

Timelapse of our latest completed project at Three Counties - Stockman’s Café.

This is the second building MSB Group has delivered at Three Counties, following our previous design and build at Kildare Hall. Stockman’s Café is now open, welcoming the local community as a permanent fixture within the showground.

The timelapse captures the full steel frame build - from groundworks through to the fully enclosed structure. A steel frame going up at pace, sequenced correctly and hitting programme, is one of the most satisfying things to watch come together on-site.

MSB teams managed the full package in-house: design coordination, fabrication and installation. Delivering a clean, durable structure built to perform for decades.

Congratulations to everyone involved, a strong result for the team and a great addition to the showground.

We manage the full package in-house from groundworks through to handover- steel frame, cladding, ventilation, lighting, doors and fit-out. No main contractor markup, no coordinating multiple trades.

Every arena is designed around how the facility will actually be used. Dimensions, surface specification, natural light and future expansion all considered from the outset.

Before and after from a recent industrial unit refurbishment.

A new build isn't always the answer. For many clients, the existing structure has more life in it than it appears - and a well-managed refurbishment can deliver a fully modernised, functional space at a fraction of the cost of starting from scratch.

On a project like this, the scope typically covers structural reinforcement, new cladding and roofing, insulated wall lining, LED lighting, epoxy resin flooring, doors and windows, and all associated groundworks. The result is a building that performs like new without the programme length or cost of a full new build.

Construction now complete on three units in Dursley, Gloucestershire - a 10,000 sq ft commercial warehouse, a purpose-built dance studio (10,000 sq ft over two floors) for Severn Dance Studios , and an 8,500 sq ft retail office and showroom over two floors.

MSB's scope covered groundworks, structural steel frame construction and cladding across all three units. Windows and doors were installed by Fentrade.

The scheme was value engineered in coordination with CROE Architects and the client ahead of construction, refining the design approach based on a previous MSB-delivered building the client had seen.

Completed May 2026. It's been a pleasure working alongside the architect and the client to deliver this project.

MSB has the capability to deliver fabrication at volume - and this project is a good example of that.

We've produced in excess of 250 stillages for a sawmill client, used to kiln dry logs as part of their production process. Each one fabricated in-house to a consistent specification, delivered in batches to suit the client's operational requirements.

It's not structural steelwork, but it's the same principle - understanding what the client needs, building to that requirement, and delivering at scale without compromising on quality.

Progress continues on the Phase 2 extension at Magna Specialist Confectioners.

With the structural steelwork, roof and external cladding complete, the building has now reached the stage where internal works can continue. The extension is taking shape well and represents another key milestone in the programme.

We'll be sharing further updates as work progresses towards completion.
