We have a rare position available for a school/college lever to join us on an apprenticeship program at our Blaydon site.

Starting with building, servicing, diagnosing and repairing all mobility products (Mobility scooters, Powered Wheelchairs, Stairlifts and everything in between). Developing on to working on brand new cars, modifying them with a range of high tech controls that allow people with disabilities to drive and access a car.
We don’t need to see any prior qualifications. We will teach you everything you need to know for the role. What we need to see is someone with a good attitude to work; display an interest in taking things apart to understand how they work and re-assembly; a practical mindset that is ready to learn.
You will have the opportunity to gain experience with:
-A range of tools and equipment
-Diagnostics
-Fabrication
-Internal processes for quality controls -Communicating and creating relationships with customers/suppliers
-Quoting for bespoke work
-Using IT systems/softwares such as the Microsoft platform, Sage50 accounts for quotation/invoicing and industry specific portals to access/select diagrams and parts lists
⏱️ Monday to Friday (with one day release for an automotive college course if desired)
💷 Salary for age group.

Based on a 39 hour week in the first year of training:
16 - 18 years old: £1177.80 per month / £14,133.60 annual
