Early start this morning (2am)
Up to Inverness for an insurance underwriter for the second time on the same vehicle.
First visit I was asked to do one injector so this time the other 3 got removed.
10 hour round trip and 20 minutes to do the job.
I’ll not be going back up there, it’s just way too long of a drive and not getting through my backlog of work.

Called by a repeat customer just before the Christmas break and luckily enough for him I had a cancellation so was able to get it done before the new year.
Fiesta with a dv6 engine with the tip of a glow plug stuck in the head.
They usually snap higher up but as you can see not a lot left of this one.
Ruined a drill bit , but at least the job was completed successfully.
Car back to the owner for Christmas.

It’s been a while since Iv posted so here goes.
Called out to spark erode a 5 mm 3 flute tap which had snapped in an expensive piece of machined steel.
A pain to get set up and the machine working as it should but all done and tap burnt out successfully.
All waste water collected

These ones put up a good fight.
Snapped in numerous places and one tip had to be knocked into the combustion chamber.
All out successfully and holes cleaned.

Gone by 8am so went to my son’s car to plug it in.
Low fuel was the cause😡😡😡😡🤛

Called out to a repeat customer at one of the Scottish councils for a snapped bolt.
The prop shaft had come loose and took out one of the hydraulic pumps at (£4K) 😳.
One of the fitters got the other bolt as it was proud of the casing, didn’t want to chance drilling the other one as this reduction/ 4 pump pto/ box will be in £20k region.
My job done 👍 I decided to clean up the face where pump mounts and found a crack.
It’s scrap.
