How has our conveyor system made a difference at Simply Thank You?

During our recent visit, we caught up with Mark, Managing Director, to hear his thoughts on the project and his experience of working with North Automation Group.

We had the pleasure of visiting Simply Thank You last week and caught up with Mark Eglington, their Managing Director, beside the conveyors we installed earlier this year. 😁

It was lovely to see the system in action, capture some more footage and have a chance to interview Mark and hear his thoughts on the project.

A small component can make a big difference when it’s keeping a machine running.

If a replacement part is difficult to source or no longer available, we may be able to recreate it with 3D printing. From roller ends to sensor holders, we can work from an existing part or design something to suit the job.

Our custom 3D printing service allows us to reverse-engineer existing parts or design new components for a specific purpose, from sprockets and roller ends to sensor holders and other parts used across warehouse and automation equipment.

Built in-house by the North Automation Group team 👷‍♂️

Designing and building the conveyors ourselves for the Simply Thank You project gave us greater control over every detail, from quality and configuration to how each section fits into the wider system.

It also meant we could tailor the equipment around Simply Thank You’s operation, creating a conveyor solution built specifically for the way their gift boxes move through the site.

We’re really proud of how this conveyor project for Simply Thank You is coming together. As it moves closer to the finish line, we’re looking forward to sharing more of the completed system in action.

We’re currently working with Simply Thank You, a Darlington-based specialist in bespoke corporate gifting. 🎁

Behind every carefully prepared gift is a busy fulfilment operation. North Automation is replacing Simply Thank You’s existing conveyor system and adding a third line to support the movement of gift boxes and packages around their facility.

These photos show the preparation taking place in our unit last week. Installation is now underway on site, and we’re looking forward to sharing the finished system soon! ⚙️
