Our Story

We are a machine shop with in-house facilities to deliver engine related machine work, restoration and rebuilding of classic, modern classic, vintage and veteran engines. Our customers include many well-known general vehicle restorers who trust us to provide dedicated engine rebuild services on their behalf. We thrive on the challenge of solving technical issues which often accompany the repair, restoration and enhancement of our customer’s engines. In the case of older engines we often adapt or manufacture components where parts are no longer obtainable. We are engineers for whom the quality, reliability authenticity and performance of our engines is of primary importance. We will always work with you as our customer, to both understand your requirements and provide advice where it is important to do so. We undertake all repair services, large or small, in our own well equipped workshops. We often use traditional skills and machines, for example when working with white metal bearings, but can also call on the latest technology when required. We are one of the only restorers in the UK able to undertake supersonic metal spray repairs using the revolutionary Dycomet process. Above all else, we are enthusiasts - there is nothing more satisfying than hearing the purr (or growl) of one of our freshly rebuilt engines. There is no job too big (or small) for us to handle and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss and advise you on any engine matters.
