Ifor LM range Flooring replacement ✅

We had a recent LM range Ifor Williams in for a floor replacement for Foxes Tree Services & Sons

We use only genuine flooring supplied by to avoid cuts to ensure maximum protection for your trailer flooring .

Used the old lashing points as nothing wrong with them and fully sealed the edged to minimise moisture ingress .

❄️Gritting season pending❄️

Returning customers for 3 seasons now asking for a full overhaul of 4 trailed gritters . Although last season wasn’t very prolific these trailers still need a full inspection / service due to the salt .

Corrosion is a big problem for obvious reasons so we’ve upgraded to stainless steel where possible to try and avoid this .

Luckily only a handful of parts needed to keep these trailers in full working condition ahead of the gritting season .

Ifor Williams GH range after service repairs ✅

We serviced this trailer last week to find a few issues .

❌Leaf springs heavily worn .
❌Rear lamps smashed.
❌Hitch gator split .
❌Break away cable damaged .
❌Rear reflectors damaged .

Returned to site ( luckily in the dry ) to carry out the after service repairs to ensure trailer is roadworthy and safe to be towed .

Trailer returned back to work ✅

On site service carried out on this newly purchased nugent trailer . This customer wanted a check over service carried out due to the amount of miles it’s covered since new .

Full inspection carried out alongside full brake check , clean and adjustment . Hitch checked and greased before setting off back on the road .

Just because the trailer looks new doesn’t mean it doesn’t need checking and servicing .

Ifor Williams car transporter 🚗🏎️

This trailer came to us for a yearly routine service . Upon inspection found brake cables needed replacements and a brake overhaul and adjustment . When checking the chassis bolts came across an extremely worn pivot pin and bracket which connects the trailer bed to the chassis . Luckily a quick turn around for the customer and back on the road .

This trailer came to us for a routinely yearly service . Upon inspection noticed snapped leaf springs , rotten jockey door panel , seized sliding window locks and hitch lock no longer had keys .

New jockey door panel fitted from Ifor Williams ✅
New sliding window locks fitted ✅
Upgraded LED interior light ✅
Leaf springs , u bolts and bump stops replaced✅
New hitch lock fitted ✅

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE ⚠️

Something to be aware of for all trailers… we attended an onsite trailer service today and couldn’t complete it to our full potential due to no locking wheel nut remover .

Please ensure you are aware what your trailer wheel nuts are and if you are unsure please do do get in contact . We would be happy to help .

Imagine the outcome of a blow on with a horse on board and un aware of a locking wheel nut .

This would be our second one this month
So although they ensure your wheels are safe and cannot be stolen . It’s always good to know they car be removed ✅✅

🟢Ifor Williams 506 limited edition green🟢

Full service carried out on site where we noticed a soft front jockey door panel .

Upon trying to source a new panel . Informed via Ifor Williams the green edition cannot be replaced with the green only silver , blue or black .

A silver one was ordered and colour matches and professionally sprayed to keep the trailer in original state . This was a fun one as no one would ever know but we made it work for the customer .
