Now that's a statement - and one we’re proud to stand behind.

When we first met John, Managing Director of Brownings the Bakers, at an exhibition in Munich, upgrading equipment wasn’t even on his agenda - until he saw our Hotplate Line.

That quickly changed to: “that’s the one for me.”

Today, they’re producing their morning goods with just 3 operators instead of 16 - a clear example of the efficiency these systems can deliver!

Our Potato Cake Lines are fully tailored to each customer, with bake times and configurations set to suit your exact requirements.

Using hotplate transfer, products are cooked on both sides before moving through to stacking and cooling - ensuring precise bake control and efficient handling throughout, supported by individually controlled Super Burner Systems and servo-driven operation.

We provide complete, end-to-end systems, all designed and manufactured in-house at our factory in Lancashire, UK. 🇬🇧

Joining Baldwin Engineering Group in 2014 marked a key step forward, enabling us to expand beyond Europe for the first time! Now our lines are installed in every continent, with a strong presence in the USA and continued success across Europe and the UK.

In 2019, we moved into a purpose-built 35,000 sqft factory, giving us the capacity to manufacture and assemble up to five production lines at once!

While hot cross buns usually take the spotlight at Easter, there’s no reason crumpets can’t be part of the menu.

Our lines help produce crumpets like these all across the world. In fact, our largest crumpet plant produces up to 14,000 products per hour on a 12-across line!

Each system is designed for consistency and efficiency, featuring:
• Automatic ring oiler and cleaner
• Volumetric depositor (accurate to within 1g)
• Two-stage take-off for smooth cooling and handling

Our two-stage transfer system gently moves products onto the cooling belt and aligns them ready for stacking, with optional pick-and-place solutions tailored to your needs.
