Class 2 Tipper Drivers Wanted – Neath Depot

We are currently recruiting for two Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join our team based at our Neath depot.

Requirements:

* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
* Tipper experience preferred, but not essential
* Reliable, professional, and safety conscious

Congratulations to one of our drivers, Dai Hawkes, who took his MAN truck to the Truck Bash Truck Show this weekend and came away with a “Highly Commended” award.

A fantastic achievement and well deserved after all the hard work cleaning and preparing the truck for the show.

These trucks are hardworking machines, and in fairness to all the staff, they do a brilliant job looking after them and keeping them in top condition.

We will be at the Neath vintage steam show showing bits off plus the porthcawl truck show so if you see us pop over for a catch up.

This morning, a few of our drivers gave up their family time to prepare and take their lorries down to Carmarthen for a truck run in memory of Leon Arundel.

It was incredible to see members of the public lining the streets and standing on bridges to show their support — well done to everyone involved.

All proceeds were donated to the Noah’s Ark Charity.

Yesterday we were on a mission with Ian Davies Plant & Construction, helping out on one of their projects 💪

The job involved moving a 70-ton section of a bascule bridge into position—definitely not your everyday lift. Big kit, tight planning, and a solid team effort all around.

Great to be part of it and see everything come together safely and smoothly 👏

restored bascule bascule bridge is being moved from its storage location at the Landore Park and Ride to a verge at Brunel Way - ready to be lifted back into place once its damaged timber supports have been replaced.

📜 The 70-tonne steel span is a Grade II listed structure and Scheduled Ancient Monument, almost 120 years old, originally built in 1909 to carry a rail link across the River Tawe.

🔧 Once the timber restoration is complete - expected early next year - the bridge will be reinstated as part of a shared use path crossing the River Tawe adjacent
