MIG WELDERS / FABRICATORS REQUIRED
Harbrook Engineering Ltd is a family run business and we are looking for experienced Fabricators/MIG Welders to join our team. We will also consider less experienced applicants who want a route into steel fabrication and welding. The final salary rate will be based on experience and skills.
We offer a wide variation on the type of bespoke fabrication jobs, which hopefully provides job satisfaction for the right candidate.
There are always opportunities to gain experience and knowledge on other equipment associated with metal fabrication, we operate CNC plasma cutter, CNC waterjet cutter, CNC sheet metal press brake, sheet metal & section rollers plus conventional machining equipment.
A standard working week is 40 hours and we offer semi-flexible working hours within the window of 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. There is the opportunity for non-contractual overtime which is paid at a higher rate after 40 hours.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabricating metal components, as well as a thorough understanding of safety regulations and standards. The successful candidate will be able to read plans, interpret drawings, and work with various types of metals to fabricate and weld components for our products. Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
• Use welding equipment to join metal components.
• Operate fabrication machinery such as shears, presses, and drills.
• Perform cutting, grinding, and welding processes.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Full and clean driving license is an advantage
