🌍 This World Environment Day, we’re highlighting some of the ways Danaher & Walsh is helping reduce environmental impact across both our sites and offices.

From ECOXi welfare pods and battery-powered tools on site, to EV charging points and newly installed solar panels at Head Office, we continue to explore practical ways to work more sustainably across our operations.

Our recent solar panel installation is already helping improve our energy independence, while trials of battery-powered equipment on site are supporting lower emissions and reduced fuel usage.

Small changes can make a big difference when it comes to building a more sustainable future. 🌱

🚧 Project Complete: Melton Mowbray Distributor Road 🚧

We're pleased to share our latest case study showcasing our involvement in the Melton Mowbray Distributor Road project, delivered alongside Galliford Try.

The scheme included drainage, culverts, highways infrastructure, active travel routes and environmental improvements, helping to create a key transport link that will improve connectivity and reduce congestion around the town.

Recently, our Anglian Water team received a demonstration of portable crawler CCTV inspection equipment as part of an exploration of potential future investment in specialist inspection technology.

Equipment like this is used daily by the IMR WR Serviceability Team to assess the condition of high-risk sewers across Anglian Water’s region. It supports data capture, helps identify where servicing is needed, such as high-pressure water jetting and highlights structural defects, including cracks, breaks, or collapses.

A big thank you to Mark Essex, Sales Manager at Rausch, for delivering the demonstration and sharing his expertise with the team. 🙌
