Here's a little autumn renovation fact worth knowing.
A surface that feels dry isn't necessarily ready for painting, flooring or other finishes.
Moisture can remain deeper within plaster, screed and other building materials long after the surface appears dry.
Apply finishes too early and you could find yourself dealing with bubbling paint, damaged flooring or a job that needs doing twice.
A dehumidifier can help manage excess moisture during the drying process, but it's important to check that materials have reached the required moisture levels before moving on.
Because doing the same job twice isn't quite the productivity hack you were looking for.
