✅ Every component in these kits is manufactured and packaged then sealed, by IWIS themselves:
• Chains
• Guides
• Tensioners
• Associated components
💡 For those that don’t know:IWIS manufacture the timing chains fitted to BMW engines from factory.

❓ Why?
Because after doing these jobs day in, day out, year after year - we know what lasts… and what doesn’t!
⚠️ One thing we’re seeing more and more lately:
Companies advertising “IWIS chain kits fitted”… but when the engine comes apart later:
🟡 Only the chain is IWIS
❌ Guides = aftermarket
❌ Sprockets = aftermarket
❌ Tensioners = aftermarket
That is NOT an OEM IWIS kit.
🚨 Every month we see vehicles arrive after chain jobs carried out elsewhere with:
🔴 Failed guides broken into pieces
🔴 Failed tensioners
🔴 Excessive chain wear
🔴 Guide debris blocking oil pickups
🔴 Repeat chain failures requiring the whole job doing again
⏳ In many cases these failures happen 12–24 months after fitting.

Before comparing quotes, don’t just ask:❓ “Is it an IWIS kit?”
Ask instead:

✅ Are the guides OEM?
✅ Are sprockets included?
✅ What warranty is included?
✅ Can they show previous work?
💷 Price matters - but it shouldn’t be the deciding factor.
