What a busy few weeks!:), and now we’re nearly at another bank holiday!:). It’s been a very stressful May, with lots of fabrication and forgework getting done, coupled with dad having a new shoulder, and my sister having a serious knee op, May certainly has had its moments!:) looking forward to seeing these rather substantial gates in place at a nearby pub:), I finished these up last week and they’re now at the painters:), although quite plain in design, they’re certainly heavy enough!:), also the 22mm bars pass all the way through the gate, and radius bar:). Now my heads a bit more in the game, I’ll be posting some fun stuff bits on here:). As always many thanks for your continued comments:), I hope everyone is gearing up for the bank holiday:)❤️

I’ve been a bit rubbish posting recently, sorry!:) it’s been a proper fabrication few weeks, lots of repair work, and structural work going out of the yard:). But as i stand here with the sun on my face, marking out some holes to punch, I can’t think of a better place to be:). One of the reasons I love this job is just how varied, and diverse the work can be. From big structural beam work, to gifts and garden sculptures for people, it’s all part of the job, and there’s never a dull moment:). Was recently asked to make a wedding ring for a lovely couple, out of Titanium:), excuse my fingers!:). Tig continues to grow into a lovely dog:), he’s calming a bit!:) and is a pleasure to walk (albeit he pulls like a train on the lead still!:). Lots to update here, but here’s a few pics of Tig, said ring:). And as always thanks again for you positive comments:) have a great rest of the week:)❤️

Well that’s certainly been a busy week!:) I think I’ve had the kitchen sink of work thrown at me this week:) from letterbox repairs, fabrication, exhaust making, excavator repairs, wedding ring making, and structural work, it’s certainly been a full week:) finished the week on the forge (my favourite place to work:)) continuing with the panels/ scrollwork for the mobile bar:). The weather looks like it might be turning into spring (finally), and of course the clocks go forward tonight, so hopefully the winter weather is on the wain. I’m looking forward to having a couple of days off for Easter!:). Here’s a couple of pictures of the scroll panels made, it’s going to look really special when complete:) have a great weekend:) thanks again:)❤️

I hope everyone has enjoyed the sunshine this week:), I’m lighting the forge for a mornings work today, and having a day of walking Tig tomorrow:), but as mentioned previously I thought I’d share the final pictures of the canopy, installed and finished in position:). This certainly has been a mission, but it’s finally in and I’m really happy with how it came out, I hope the client is:). With all the trades involved doing a great job, it really came together to make something special:). Here’s a few pictures of the install, through to the finished canopy:). I hope everyone has a great weekend:) and thanks again:)❤️

Afternoon:) the suns shining and things are starting to look a lot like spring is on the way:), lots of things happening here at present:), with the installation and completion of the Gothic arch canopy for a coffee house, it’s certainly been busy!:) I came in from work the other evening and my wife had been playing with AI and made an image depicting me!:), not quite sure what I’m holding, as they’re certainly not tongs:), and it looks like I’m going to smack Tigs paw, and I hope my belly’s not as big, but it’s quite fun:) have a great week, forge work is the order of the rest of the week, and genuinely catching up, after being away fitting for a week:) I’ll post some finished pictures of the canopy over the weekend🙂 thanks again:)❤️

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!:). Firstly apologies for not posting much on here recently, the last few weeks have been manic, with lots of fabrication/ forgework being done, coupled with the install of the large canopy that was made last year, and due to foreseen circumstances had to be postponed, it’s certainly been a busy start to the year!:). But couldn’t help posting today, as it’s valentines, and one of my favourite things to make is hearts!:). I’ve made all shapes and sizes of hearts, and it never gets boring:). From timber mounted gifts, wall art, and large hearts you can sit in, it’s a lovely shape to make:). I’ll put some pics on of various hearts I’ve made over the years, and a couple of the canopy, but I’m very mindful that the glass and the finishing is yet to be done on this, I think it’s going to look really special when complete:) I hope everyone has a happy valentine:) thanks again:)❤️

Thank you for your continued support and orders over the last year, as always I end the year feeling incredibly grateful:). Not just for the customers old, and new, but also for the amazing suppliers, and individuals that help me achieve what I do day to day:). I’m also very grateful for my family, who are incredibly supportive:). I love doing what I do, and nxt year will be my 50th year (not working, although I may look it!:)). I’m using this reason to make some serious investments, not just in machinery, but also in the yard, which again I wouldn’t have, if it wasn’t for the hard work and dedication of my family before me:) I’ll keep you updated on everything that’s happening (if your interested:)), and am very much looking forward to the challenge:). From myself and Tig, I thank you all, and wish you a happy, healthy and successful 2026!:) let’s make it one to remember!:) thank you:)❤️

I hope everyone’s run up to Christmas has begun:), such a special time of year in so many ways (and a difficult time for some), it’s always a busy time though:). So this week we’ve took delivery of a load of firewood for the winter in the yard, several agricultural repairs, stainless fabrication, lots of quotes, and lots of forgework:). Was asked by a lovely couple who run a events bar, to come up with a completely sectional, decorative bar, with a scrollwork panel at the front:), it’s going to look really special when it’s complete:), also making some pieces for me to give as gifts:), I’ve been playing around making calligraphy out of metal, and I’m quite pleased with how it’s coming together:). Also on Thursday I took part in the annual Christmas party at the local village first school:), by being Father Christmas’s helper (of course:)). This is something I love to do, as it’s a family tradition:), with both my dad and my grandad using the same suit, at the same school:). It’s my start of feeling a little Christmassy, and this year didn’t disappoint:), it’s such a special time for everyone, but especially kids:). I hope everyone is feeling festive:), here’s a few pics of what’s been going on:) as always thanks:)❤️

It’s fair to say that what this last few weeks have been:), with loads of fabrication, forgework and repair work going on there’s never a dull moment!:). Sorry I haven’t posted many pics on here recently, have made a few things that customers have asked not to be put on here, also some Christmas gifts being made:), have some pics to put up after they’ve been given:). It’s safe to say that working from on the forge, is my happy place:), love making different things for people, and there is certainly a variety of things to make:). Tig continues to be a lovely dog, full of beans and energy:). Lots of hearts, and different ides to show you:). I’ll start posting some bits that I can on here over the nxt few days:).
