Arriving shortly is this lovely Denham Lathe
Used until recently by an innovative model engineer this is far from your standard Denham lathe.
Fitted with a quick change tool post and more tool holders than you can shake a stick at, it also comes with a 3 jaw chuck with several sets of jaws, a 4 jaw independent, a suprisingly large faceplate, a few other drive plate for various uses. Stacks of change wheels to allow you to cut a vast array of different threads. Fixed steady, and a travelling steady that may or may not be related.
The lathe has also been fitted with a dividing attachment, which combined wirh two plates and a selection of different change gears on the spindle gives it the ability to divide almost infitne divisions.
The usual Denham crash to engage powerfeed on the apron has been modified to include a cone clutch allowing you to take up drive sedately.
Single phase, with reversing switch. Morse taper 2 tailstock.
An interesting and capable machine for those who want a bit more capacity than a Myford ML7 or similar.
