The New Scholar Engines Website!

Last week we launched our new website! It's been a while since the last update and to be honest, the busy summer day-to-day workshop activities have limited the time we've had to work on it. However, with Woodbridge-based web developers Loopwhole and help from Dave at Hangar, we have created a massively improved platform. The new site shows off our services with better structured menus - many you will already know about and some new ones that may surprise you! We are going to be adding to this regularly so why not pay it a visit!

For many years, we have been carrying out transmission repairs, overhauls and upgrades for (mainly) Lotus vehicles visiting our workshops at Hangar 111.

Our gearbox tech is one of the most experienced in the UK and has extensive experience with road, track and race gearboxes from all manner of manufacturers. We have good access to original and aftermarket transmission parts and upgrade components for competition use.

With regular enquiries coming in to Scholar from engine build customers regarding their gearboxes, and a need for more space to deal with existing customers, we have decided to set up a brand new dedicated workshop here at Scholar Engines.

Watch this space as “Scholar Transmissions” comes online in the new year!

It's that festival time of year once again!! Brands Hatch kicks-off this weekend and The Walter Hayes Trophy following closely behind in November.

In recent years we've welcomed a number of new and returning FF1600 customers to our door and they have delivered the goods! Countless podiums, race wins and championship wins in the UK and overseas. We've even clocked up an FF2000 victory or two! We are proud to be a part of their success.

Wishing all Scholar drivers the very best of luck in the upcoming end-of-season finals and just remember - we will be behind you all the way!!
