S U N D A Y F U N D A Y after countless hours late nights 7 days a week trying to fit everything in around customers cars. My D4 is complete. This was a little bit different to just an engine rebuild it’s had a fully rebuilt chassis. After stripping everything down and basically building from the ground up. I get to drive it ☺️ She drives like new and looks awesome. Back where she belongs out in the countryside exploring.

We have been quiet on here of late and will post the build in the coming days/weeks

S N A P S A T U R D A Y!!! So another good reason for regular oil changes. On removing the filter it was full of metal, dropping the sump there was metal from the shells. We knew it wasn’t goijg to be good news. This has not only Snapped the crank but spun a main bearing and a big end bearing. Down to oil starvation. It has snapped and the oil pump tensioner has gone as well. Happy Saturday 😊

S M A S H E D rockers smashed when the timing belt broke at the oil pump tensioner. Common fault this has had a recent cambelt and whoever did it didn’t replace the oil pump for the uprated pump. It also looked like it had been leaking oil from the seal so should have been replaced.
