Splicers are one of those bits of kit you expect to just work. But it is worth asking… what if it could work better?

The Sumitomo 72M12+ is built with that in mind.

With fast 11 second splice times on 12 fibre ribbon, it helps move jobs along quickly, especially on higher fibre count work where delays add up. Features like the enhanced ACAS system keep fibre alignment consistent, while replaceable V-grooves make maintenance simpler and help keep performance steady over time.

It is also designed to reduce interruptions. On-board NanoTune ensures that even one bad cleave will be accounted for and corrected during the splice, which means fewer reworks and a smoother workflow from splicing through to testing.
