Once again Sandy at Mckenzie Rural Services pulls off another blinder… literally 🤣💥 New digger arrived home and it needed the LED treatment just as the other digger got a month or so ago to battle the nightshifts and the short days, while at it the trailer got some extra lights aswell… wasn’t planned but Sandy as usual… Aye no bother leave that trailer here too..we will sort it! 👌. Its been a bit quiet on the social media side recently but theres good reason, things have been flat out busy and we are working around the clock meeting the demands of the workload and keeping the wheels and tracks moving!. Now working 24hours a day with different operations going on i would like to introduce the new addition of Flail vegetation works for the highways!. Along with that has been the newest addition of a second mini digger and flail attachment to keep up with the demand. So for all vegetation clearance and digger work in general which also crosses over into tree clearance works we can cover it all with a range of machinery and attachments.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced 360° / 180° Digger Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual with a strong background in groundworks and drainage, covering both domestic and agricultural projects.

Our operations run 24 hours during seasonal periods, so flexibility and commitment are essential.

Requirements
• Valid NPORS or CITB certification
• First Aid +F qualification
• Proven experience operating 360° and 180° diggers
• Experience in groundworks, drainage, and agricultural work
• Over 25 years of age
• Full, clean driving licence
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety, with full compliance to PPE and site regulations

Desirable (Advantageous) Qualifications
• Chainsaw certificate
• Class 1 or 2 HGV licence
• Tractor operation experience

Responsibilities
• Safe and efficient operation of 360° and 180° diggers
• Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any maintenance issues promptly
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety procedures and RAMS
• Completing any required site paperwork and working cooperatively under site supervisors when required
• Maintaining a tidy and professional work area
• Supporting yard operations when needed, including assisting the firewood side of the business

This is a full-time position, and applicants must be willing to work day and night shifts during busy seasonal operations as part of our 24-hour service with occasional weekend work.
