Something a little different to begin this week with.
A local graphics company had made contact with us as one of there customers specified hand painted signage across the front of there shop.
So Karl was shipped off down to Cardiff to the Victorian royal arcade where he set up, laid out and painted the gold colour in, due to the opening hours it required through the night work, early hours this morning he was able to create the shadows and get those painted up.
Let’s just say he won’t be taking up night shifts !

Another happy customer

It’s a rarity to get Karl on camera. This morning he’s being filmed by Royal Enfield for a promo video. We can’t wait for the final edit 🎬

A little sign done for the wedding anniversary of some good friends. A little pushed for time on this so a friend of the business painted the steam engine, then lined and sign written in house by Karl.

Thanks for the mug Axholme's
Always in need of a cuppa whilst at work in the paint shop.
Can’t fault the engine sheets this company has made for us. With all requirements met and tailored.

Coach painting & livery completed on this brand new 9” Foden ‘Marie’ owned by Sam Robertson.

Precision in the name and in the finish, Sam has painstakingly gone through the engine adding all the finer parts to really make it stand out giving Marie that edge.

From helping collect the engine in April 2025 it has been a pleasure helping transform the engine by coach painting and sign writing bringing it to life with its battleship grey and off white lining and sign writing. Admittedly the spectacle plate and gear guards have been sprayed black.

We look forward to seeing the engine out and about at Marston Steam & Vintage Show on 22nd 23rd August.
