Taking premiere coverage to the next level 🎬
Last week at the Toy Story 5 premiere we delivered our biggest red carpet communications and audio setup yet.
Alongside the live interviews and red carpet coverage, we supported a dedicated Disney+ studio show – all engineered from our compact Sound 1 unit and delivered in a single-day build and de-rig.
Big productions need great people. Huge thanks to the incredible crew who made it happen.

Back in London last week supporting at the Ivor Novello Awards – our second year on the show.

From live performances to backstage acoustic sets, we supplied our sound mobile and full audio package to help keep everything moving seamlessly behind the scenes.

Premiere night for The Devil Wears Prada 2 – out with our newly refitted Sound 1.
Film premieres are always a live puzzle. Multiple feeds, shifting content. After 15 years, we’ve built the workflows to keep it seamless.
The new System T is already earning its place.

First job done on the newly refitted Sound 1.
200 channels of multitrack, 70 Boleros, 16 talkback panels and an immersive audience mic rig — all in a compact footprint. Now rolling on some properly chunky wheels too.

🚀 Fleet upgrade complete!
🎚 Sound 2 now packs a 48‑channel S400 surface — a serious step up, making it a powerhouse on wheels.
🎛 Sound 1 has had a full refit: System T at the core, dual 512‑channel multitrack, all in a compact MWB Sprinter. Built for big‑scale tracking and complex comms, including Bolero.
⚡ Both rigs are engineered for efficiency, delivering top-tier performance while keeping power usage low.
🎬 Ready to hit the road and make some noise!

Just back from Thailand where we kicked off the new MotoGP season 🌏🏁

Our 13th year on the championship – now with TNT Sports and previously with BT Sport and BBC Sport.

We provide technical management and sound crew, delivering commentary, front end RF, PSC sound and fast intercom links back to the UK – all on a fully remote model. 22 races worldwide. Same focus every round 🎧

Just back from covering the Super Bowl with 🏈🎧
Tall Audio handled technical planning and remote production services into IMG at Stockley Park – big teamwork across the board.

Cold, wet and properly windy Winterwatch 🌧️🌬️

Big thanks to the BBC Northern Ireland crew for having us on board NI4 – a seriously flexible truck built on a 2110 IP backbone. A calm, well-kitted sound control room with a Calrec Artemis, Riedel matrix and extensive recording and processing throughout 🎛️

Outside was another story. Floor crew battling the elements and 20 wildlife mics pushing through 40 mph winds and constant rain – the badgers still delivered on mic 🦡🎤

Great to catch up with the dream team in the gallery and reflect on 16 years of OBs together. Maybe Spring will be kinder.

Working with Verve Films, we supplied sound crew and a compact flyaway for a fast de-rig in central London 🎬 – simple, flexible and built for TV.
