Job Vacancy

CNC Turning Machinist

Full time | Flexible hours | Markethill, Co. Armagh

Salary: dependant on experience

Due to continued improvement and growth Vector Manufacturing require an experienced CNC Turning Machinist to set up and operate CNC turning centres. The successful candidate will be required to set machines and prove out programs to enable the smooth running of production batches.

We are seeking candidates with the following essential criteria:

Applicants must be able to display experience and ability to program, set and operate a Fanuc CNC lathe.
Competency in finishing and inspecting machined parts.
Read and understand technical drawings.
Good attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Fanuc controls.

Desirable criteria:
Experience in offline programming.
Experience in manual turning + milling in

Meister have been busy working on a new range of coilovers, the Sport-Z range, coming in at £769 they are priced right in between the excellent Sportives and the impressive Zeta CRDs. The sport-Z range boasts many of the features from the Zeta CRDs including 32 position dampening adjustment and the tried and tested independent ride height / spring preload set up.
We have stock due in any day now and we'll be testing a set for ourselves to see how they stack up. If you want your name on a set, get in touch.

Saturday past saw our first attempt at hill climbing in our new turbo car. Some interesting weather for the first time driving 245bhp in anger led to some hair raising moments but the car is home in one piece. Looking forward to next year's round already.
