Meet Andy Pudner, our Technical Director!

With 43 years in the industrial battery game, Andy has a fair few stories to tell!

He started his career as an engineer working for his dad, Phil, at M&P Electrics, keeping milk floats running for the dairies. As milk floats disappeared from our streets, Andy moved on to electric golf buggies, tow tractors and baggage handlers. He even turned his hand to replacing golf buggy tyres!

Andy eventually took over running M&P and brought his two sons, Daniel and Harrison, into the business, continuing the family tradition. This year would have marked M&Pโ€™s 50th anniversary โ€” a milestone worth recognising.

Over the years, Andy has worked at most of the London airports and supported some of our largest customers. Heโ€™s even found himself working in the odd prison โ€” strictly in a professional capacity, of course! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Whether itโ€™s a forklift, tow tractor, powered access platform or cleaning machine, Andy is the man for the job. His experience covers a huge range of electric vehicles, and heโ€™s always happy to get stuck in.

Andy joined TAB Battery UK in April as our Technical Director and hit the ground running, managing our service provision at Heathrow Airport and looking after our field engineers.

Itโ€™s great to have Andyโ€™s knowledge, experience and practical approach on the team! ๐Ÿ”‹

A very well-deserved promotion for George, who has officially stepped into the role of National Sales Manager!

Georgeโ€™s journey with us started as part-time help in the warehouse. From there, he moved into a full-time role, became a van driver, progressed into van delivery sales and then became a Sales Representative.

He has worked incredibly hard to reach this point and has built up a huge amount of knowledge along the way. Having worked across so many areas of the business, George understands our products, customers and markets from the ground up.

In his new role, George will be developing our larger accounts, as well as helping to train and support the new members of our sales team.
Weโ€™re really pleased to see George take this next step and look forward to seeing what he achieves.
