We’re very proud here at King to have played a key role in the UK’s journey towards safe, responsible nuclear decommissioning. A huge congratulations to Mark Hartley and everyone at Hunterston B on achieving this major milestone!

King designed and built the highly engineered purpose-built trailers to safely transport nuclear flasks and we are incredibly proud to see them in action. We continue to support EDF Energy with a maintenance package on the tractor/trailer combinations to ensure their safe and compliant continued use.

This project exemplifies our commitment to nuclear excellence and innovation, and is the first step in defueling the AGR reactor fleet. We look forward to continued collaboration as we support Hinkley, Dungeness and Torness in reaching their defueling milestones.
