On Saturday 20 June, I will be walking through the night for Rotherham Hospice in memory of my mum Joan, who suffered with dementia.

That’s a wrap on a fantastic two days at The South West England Miniature Engineering Show 🎬

A big thank you to all the organisers, exhibitors and visitors who made it such a great event.

It was brilliant to see so many excellent models on display, including plenty not often seen at other shows, and especially nice to see so many youngsters enjoying the exhibition on Saturday with the treasure hunt and Brio train room proving a real hit.

Many congratulations to Rob and his team on a wonderfully organised show, great venue and a thoroughly enjoyable weekend all round 👏🏼

We’ll definitely be back next time! 🚂

Can you believe we’ve just bumped into D S Matharu, former Best Model in Show winner at Bristol back in 2018 🏆

Great to see him again here with his impressive 6-inch Little Samson traction engine which is still drawing plenty of attention all these years later 🚂
