We’re delighted that Shaun will once again be taking to the stage at this year’s Midlands Model Engineering Exhibition 🔧

Shaun’s talk, The History and Principles of Brazing, takes a look at the origins of brazing as a joining technique before connecting those foundations with the alloys, tools and methods used in workshops today.

Whether you’re new to brazing, looking to refine your technique, or wanting to better understand alloy selection and process control, there should be plenty to take away.

Shaun will cover practical considerations including:

• Choosing the right alloy for the job
• Getting joint preparation right
• Understanding heat control
• The principles behind achieving a successful brazed joint

From today until Sunday, we’ll be on 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟰 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 at the Warwickshire Event Centre alongside specialist suppliers, clubs, societies and hundreds of models celebrating the very best of model engineering.

Come and find us for a look at our range of silver solders, brazing alloys, fluxes, torches and heating equipment — and, of course, a chance to talk through your own projects and brazing questions.
