Upgrading access doors for Trafford Town Hall - A case study from ABC Doors, your retail experts!

We’re often approached by councils to help improve, maintain or repair door assets in government owned buildings and although they are not considered retail spaces, the requirements are the same - Doors must be well maintained, operational, safe, secure and presentable at all times - Enter ABC!

In this project, ABC engineers completed several works at Trafford Town Hall in Stretford. Trafford Council were looking for a company that could help them achieve EA (Equality Act) compliance by updating the doors already in situ at the town hall.

In this project, the brief was a full commercial unit fit-out with compliant products, installed by professionals at three large warehouse units in Manchester - a classic job for ABC Doors! The customer’s units required a number of different door solutions - large sectional doors at the entrance to the units that were electrically operated to allow delivery of construction materials and vehicle access, a glazed aluminium personnel entrance door and aluminium screens protected by an electrically operated roller shutter and a steel security door to allow exit at the rear of the warehouse.
