Jim Rodger rides on the Air Cycle Challenge Team for a good cause!

Jim has joined the Air Cycle Challenge team raising funds for Airplay, the RAF Benevolent Fund's flagship youth support programme. Led by adventure cyclist Andrew Crompton, the team of 15 riders will undertake a self-funded challenge, cycling 630 miles from RAF Lossiemouth to RAF Wyton from 12-19 September 2025.

Established in 2010, Airplay has 24 youth clubs at RAF stations across the UK with an incredible 2,947 children and young people from serving families attending weekly sessions. A safe and fun place for children and young people ages 8 to 18 years old, the clubs are not only a place for getting active and meeting other young people, but also a place to learn. Issue-based sessions on addiction, cyberbullying and keeping safe online are woven in to help support young people and their serving parents. The sessions also provide continuity for children and families relocating between RAF stations.
