I will be at the Anson Engine museum in Poynton tomorrow for the closing weekend open days. It would be great to see a few familiar faces there.

I recently finished this set of brackets to hold a large oak beam over a fireplace. Swipe to the last photo!!

The plan was to make them super strong so I made them from 10mm by 40mm, which wasn't going anywhere.

They are simple but effective and fit the job quite nicely.
