Van delivery Driver – Plant Hire Company
Location: Maghera.
Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience.
Monday - Friday.
About Us
We are a well-established and growing plant hire company providing high-quality machinery and equipment to customers across the North & South of Ireland. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team.
The Role.
As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of plant machinery to and from customer sites. You will be the face of the company, ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Delivering and collecting plant equipment, small tools and access equipment.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with regulations.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Providing courteous and professional customer service.
• Maintaining cleanliness and care of the vehicle.
• Be able to assist with cleaning and greasing of machinery when delivery’s are not busy.
Requirements:
• Valid Category B licence.
• Over 25 for insurance.
• Experience within the plant hire or construction industry (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to safely load, secure and unload plant machinery.
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
