Foenix Coding Limited are a UK based company. All the members of our organisation are ex Sauven Marking Limited employees. We have brought with us all our skills, experience, knowledge, expertise and, more importantly, our enthusiasm into this new venture. THE SAUVEN TEAM ARE BACK TOGETHER. If you have any questions relating to Sauven Marking equipment, we would like to hear from you as some third

parties are unable to repair Sauven printers with the unique parts. A member of staff at Foenix Coding possibly sold, built, tested, serviced, repaired that printer – for those reasons – we can and want to repair it to ensure your production lines run smoothly. We, at Foenix Coding, want to ensure your printers keep running until YOU decide to change. We would be happy to provide you with information on our new range of high resolution ink jet printers that are direct replacements for the Sauven Marking products. If you are looking for consumables for the ink jet range or the contact coders then we can also provide these.

Two shortlist places. Two very different categories.

That is probably what makes this year’s Automate UK Awards recognition mean the most to us.

One nomination is for environmental impact.
The other is for robotic automation.

Different challenges... but both come back to the same question:

How can we make industrial coding work better on a real production line?

🌱 Less waste.
🌱 Less maintenance.
🌱 Better integration.
🌱 Technology that earns its place rather than adding another layer of complexity.

That is the work behind the awards.

And with the PPMA Show just a couple of weeks away, we’ll be bringing that same thinking to Stand B74.

Not just what the technology can do... but how it fits into the day-to-day reality of manufacturing.

Some news we’re genuinely proud to share. 🏆

Foenix Coding has been shortlisted for not one, but two Automate UK Awards 2026:

⚙️ Innovative Robotics/Automation Solution
🌱 Environmental Initiative of the Year

The environmental nomination is particularly special for us, as we return to the category as the 2025 defending champions.

For a relatively small UK engineering team, being recognised across two very different areas means a great deal.

One reflects the engineering behind the FX ONE range and our approach to making Industrial Coding & Marking simpler, more reliable and genuinely maintenance-free.

The other recognises the work we continue to do around reducing waste, consumables and the environmental impact of coding on production lines.

We’re proud of the progress - but there’s plenty more to do.

We’ll be at PPMA Show 2026, NEC Birmingham, Stand B74, from 22–24 September.

A manufacturer I was speaking to recently was spending over 80,000 a year on labels for a single production line.

Date codes, batch numbers, origin marks, logo's - all printed on labels applied by a machine that itself needed regular servicing.

With direct printing with the Foenix Coding FXONE: labels gone. Labelling machine removed. Label stock eliminated.

Payback period: under 14 months.

This isn't unusual. It's what happens when you actually run the numbers.

The compliance conversation I keep having:

"We know we need GS1. We're just not sure our printer can do it."

Often it can't - or only at reduced speed, or only on flat substrates, or only when it's just been serviced.
