This is a face you may already know, but if you haven't been lucky enough to meet him yet... Meet Phil 👋🏻

Nearly four years at CAT, and we don't know what we would do without him!

Starting out covering London and the South as Area Manager, building his relationships across the region, and now he's stepped up to UK Sales Manager, taking the reins of our area sales team and raising the bar across the board.

When Phil isn't out on the road meeting customers or surveying sites, you can find him out on the production floor lending a hand to the team.

Part of surveying team, Connor is out visiting customer sites to carry out templating, getting the measurements and details exactly right so that every profile we manufacture fits perfectly. It's precise, technical work, and his background in surveying means he arrived at CAT already knowing what that level of detail looks like in practice.

When he's back at base, Connor's never too good to roll up his sleeves and help out wherever he can. 🙌

A project we are incredibly proud to have been part of. 🤩

The Mere Golf Resort and Spa in Cheshire has undergone a remarkable transformation, upgrading to 116 bedrooms and suites all finished to a 5-star standard, alongside a new entrance, conference centre extension, Golf Pavilion and Peruvian restaurant.

Working alongside Active Flooring Solutions Limited, CAT supplied a full range of brass and aluminium stair nosings and flooring profiles throughout the project, across both the historic main building and the new-build extension.

Antique brass was used throughout the heritage areas of the main building, with satin aluminium specified for the new-build extension, keeping every finish in perfect step with its surroundings.

Most of our floor trims and stair nosings are specified in Brass or Aluminium. But for projects where the design calls for something more specific, we can also powder coat profiles to a RAL colour of your choice.

It's a popular option for interiors where colour continuity matters, matching profiles to a brand palette, an interior scheme, or an architect's specification.

The largest hotel of its kind outside New York! 😳

Moxy London Piccadilly Circus, the largest Moxy hotel in the world outside of New York, welcomed its first guests earlier this year. Situated within the iconic Criterion Building in the heart of the West End, it is a project that demanded nothing short of perfection in every detail.

Our BN1SLR/55 solid brass stair nosings were installed at the top of two escalators leading into the lobby, making them one of the very first things guests notice as they arrive. The sweeping curves of the space presented a real challenge, and our team carried out detailed onsite templating to ensure a precise, seamless fit.

Our AN15 Black Anodised stair nosing at 42 Fountain Street, Manchester. A single-channel aluminium ramp tread profile that does exactly what a good nosing should. Protects the step edge, delivers the required visual contrast, and looks the part in a contemporary commercial setting.

Part of our Designer Collection, the AN15 is available in Black Anodised, Bronze and Light Bronze finishes, with varying LRVs, making infill selection straightforward for BS8300 compliance.

Supplied cut to size up to 2700mm, with a choice of Castellated PVC, Smooth Textured PVC, ATI49.5 Aluminium or Olympic Grip inserts depending on slip resistance requirements.

Last Friday, some of the CAT team swapped stair nosings for shin pads ⚽

We took part in the Mixxos 3rd Annual Charity Football Tournament and while the result didn't go our way on the pitch, the day was a brilliant one for a brilliant cause.

Together, all participating teams helped raise an incredible £3,069.81 for the The Arthur Ellis Mental Health Foundation. That's something worth celebrating regardless of the final score.
