The soil is still warm after the summer, and we’re starting to see the first proper rain start to come in. If you seed bare patches now, it’ll take quickly - and anything that looks rough at the moment should recover within just a few weeks.

As well as grass seed, you’ll find spreaders, compost and topsoil in-store, alongside all the tools and accessories you need to make a proper job of it.

Sales Assistant - Ludlow

TFM are offering two positions for highly motivated individuals to work at our Ludlow store.

The successful candidate will have a customer first mentality with enthusiasm for the product range. They must have experience in retail or trade sales of construction or agriculture products.

They will be required to lift and carry heavy items (Feed bags are 25kg), along with the ability to operate tills and telephones.

Responsibilities will include;

- Help customers with their purchase and carry and load items
- Maximise store sales ensuring the customer leaves the store happy and with everything they need.
- Helping with all areas of the store
- Delivering the highest standards of customer care
- Developing knowledge of the product range, customers and local community
- Stock Control

A counterbalance forklift license or AMTRA qualification would be an advantage, but training can be provided.

The available hours are a 6 day week including the weekend week 1 and a 4 day week on week 2. Making an average of 41 hours.

Due to some of the products we sell all candidates must be 18 or older.

If you need it but can't get to us, then we can bring it to you. We offer local delivery within a 15-mile radius of our stores using our own vehicles, subject to availability.

🚛 Express local delivery - just £15 per drop
Tail lift offload, kerbside delivery. Perfect for the everyday essentials that are awkward to move yourself (max load 1.2 tonne, weight restrictions apply).

🏗️ Crane offload delivery - just £25
Got bulk bags, heavy items, or a bigger order? Our crane offload vehicle handles the heavy lifting. Kerbside delivery.
