With a small, dedicated accounts team, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Team Leader to take ownership of the day to day finance function, someone who is not afraid to role their sleeves up and get involved no matter the task and to support future growth through improved systems and processes.
Alpine Fabrication Services is a well established manufacturing company providing fabrication, offshore services and labour supply to the Oil and Gas, Renewables and Maritime industries based in Lowestoft.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
Carrying out and overseeing daily bookkeeping, including invoicing both sales and purchases, VAT returns, and debtor/creditor control
Managing payment runs and conducting spend analysis
Production of management information
Implementing, improving systems and internal controls
Supporting and guiding a small accounts team
𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬:

𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
Minimum of 7 years bookkeeping experience
VAT knowledge, involving offshore work
AAT qualified (or higher) or qualified by experience
A proactive approach to system and process improvement and financial controls
Experience within a similar industry and knowledge of Xero and Zigaflow is desirable, but not essential
