The Cron HDI-400 flexo/letterpress CTP system we just installed at Archivist Press in Wellingborough is the first such machine in the UK. They use antique letterpress equipment to produce mainly card products, a lot of them bespoke creations of artists and designers. Matchboxes with retro designs are such a popular product that the company can get through a million matchsticks per week!

Archivist Press in Wellingborough has become the first UK user of a Cron HDI-400 computer-to-plate system, designed to produce plates for flexo, and in this case, letterpress. The machine was installed by SOS.

LAUNCHED TODAY - Our friends at Roland DG just can't stop innovating... say hello to the new EU2-1000MF UV-LED Flatbed. It has a print area of 2.4 × 1.2 m and media thickness up to 95 mm, with a new printhead configuration, delivering up to 1.5× higher productivity compared to the previous generation and a maximum print speed of 43.5 m²/h.
