This bearing housing had worn so badly that the bearing was spinning in the aluminium. I bored the housing out on the lathe, made and pressed in a new aluminium insert, precision-machined the internal diameter to spec, and re-cut the circlip grooves.
A proper engineered repair that’ll last.
