The PUMA DC-300 can be used as a 5 or 3 leg subsoiler with grassland or arable legs or as a single or twin leg moledrainer - the choice is a simple matter of switching the quick-release legs. The working depth is selected by hydraulic adjustment from the cab, and can be changed on-the-go. ainage improves water infiltration and increases the nutrient and oxygen availability, promoting rapid root development and early strong crop establishment. An optional Stocks seeding unit is available for sowing r**e and cover crops; seed is dropped behind the subsoiling legs into loosened soil, and rolled in by the following tyre packer which produces a firm but friable finish. The benefits of sowing behind the subsoiler are well proven; the loosened ground promotes strong tap roots, swift establishment and sets the crop up for over-wintering and getting away well in the Spring.
