Let’s be honest - the UK manufacturing industry is having a tough time right now. Output’s slowing, costs are up, and every decision feels that bit heavier. We’re not here to sugar-coat it; we’re just saying what everyone’s thinking.

We understand how challenging things feel across the industry. That’s why we’re focusing on the things we can control: keeping precision high, production steady, and supporting our customers however they need it.
Whether it’s advice on existing equipment, exploring alternative jaw options, or a quick chat about maintenance best practices - our team is here to help you keep things moving.

Because while we can’t change the economy, we can make sure your workholding holds strong.

Something strange happened in the workshop this week - a ghost appeared and immediately started showing off our products. Typical. 👻

It got a bit awkward when it insisted we take photos, but we went along with it… You don’t argue with a ghost holding a chuck jaw.

They’re by no means the LARGEST jaws we’ve ever made, but when we placed these TEC custom pie jaws (made for a clients Samchully HC-32 chuck) next to our standard sizes, they definitely held their own.

There’s something very satisfying about seeing a custom set like this take shape, especially when they raise a few eyebrows on the bench.

What do you do when a job comes in and your current setup just isn’t going to cut it?

For C&K Precision, it meant looking for a smarter way to hold the workpiece, and the Witte Quadrovac delivered.

In this video, Marcus Hamlyn visits Matt Kelsall and Neil Harvey to talk about how the Witte Quadrovac helped them take on a project they otherwise couldn’t have accepted. It’s honest, technical, and shows exactly how vacuum workholding made a real difference.

If you’re curious about vacuum systems, or wondering whether it’s time to upgrade your own setup, this case study is well worth a watch.
