One sign is good… but 8 matching ones? 👀

A recent customer order all finished and ready to go ✨

This order was for 8 matching sauna safety & instruction signs, all made together to keep everything perfectly consistent across the set.

I love getting orders like this — seeing a whole batch of identical signs lined up at the end is so satisfying! 🤌🏻

I never actually planned to start creating bits of children's decor... it just happened naturally. 🤍

When I had my son, I found myself completely drawn into creating his little space. I spent far too long choosing colours, textures and little details, wanting everything to feel just right.

Before I knew it, I was reaching for softer acrylic colours and designing pieces that I thought would look beautiful in children's rooms too.

This "Once Upon a Time" sign is one of those designs that came from that inspiration. Simple, classic and made to become part of those special little spaces where stories are read and imaginations go wild ✨

It's funny how becoming a parent started this new little journey for me 🥰

Every sign is carefully wrapped, protected and packed before it leaves me. Acrylic is surprisingly tough, but I still treat every parcel like it's carrying glass. So don't be surprised if there's plenty of bubble wrap and tape inside the box 😆

AI is brilliant for inspiration… but turning it into a real product is a completely different challenge.

A customer sent me an AI-generated image and asked if I could recreate it in acrylic.

I'll be honest... my first thought was, "I'm not sure some of those details even exist in the real world!" 😂

So I looked at what the customer loved about the design and worked out how to recreate the same feel using materials that can actually be laser cut, printed and assembled.

So... how did I do? 😅

If you’ve ever wondered what goes into making an acrylic sign, here’s the journey from a plain sheet of acrylic to a finished sign in just 7 steps.

Making this video in just 7 steps was quite difficult… I’ve made sign-making look far too easy 😂🙉

Every sign starts off hidden beneath a protective film.

Only after the final peel do you get to see the real colours, the mirror shine and all the little details that make each piece unique.

Definitely one of the best parts of the making process. ❤️

Got an idea you’d love to see brought to life? ✨

I love to share this wedding welcome sign from a while back, because the customer had already created the design themselves. In this case, my job was just to bring it to life. I laser cut the acrylic, carefully assembled the layers and finished it into a sign ready for their big day.

Not every project has to start with me designing it from scratch. If you have a background in design and can create print-ready artwork, I can help turn your own designs into finished acrylic pieces.

I’ve managed to set the laser on fire twice over the years 🙉🙈

You aren’t supposed to watch the beam but you are supposed to keep an eye on the laser at all times - they are a serious fire risk!!

So after 10+ years of working with one, it’s a good job I’ll still happily stand there watching it… there’s just something really satisfying about it!
