🔥 THE TOP 3 THINGS RIDERS FORGET IN EXTREME HEAT ☀️🏍️

Think you're ready for a hot ride? Think again... 👀

#1 💧 Hydration BEFORE the ride If you're already thirsty, you're already behind. Dehydration kills focus, reaction times, and endurance.

#2 🌬️ Air Filter Checks Dust + heat = a choking bike. A dirty filter can rob power when you need it most.

#3 ⚙️ Bike Coolant & Fluids Most riders remember fuel. Too many forget the fluids keeping the engine alive in extreme temperatures.

🚨 Ignore these and your ride could end early... or expensively.

👇 Which one have you forgotten before? Be honest!

Some of the biggest performance gains come from parts most riders completely overlook.
Here are a few hidden gems that can seriously level up your ride 👇
⚡ 1. Brake Snake
Small, cheap, and often ignored—but it can save your rear brake from snapping mid-ride. Essential for rough UK tracks.
🧲 2. Magnetic Sump Plug
Catches tiny metal particles in your engine oil = longer engine life & fewer costly repairs.

How to Make Your Dirt Bike Last Twice as Long 🔧🏁
Riding in UK conditions? Mud, grit, and hard riding can wear your bike out fast. The good news—keeping your dirt bike in top shape doesn’t have to be complicated.
Here are 10 easy wins to extend your bike’s lifespan and save money 👇
✅ Clean after every ride
Use low pressure, remove mud, and re-l**e—simple but effective.
✅ Keep your air filter fresh
Clean & oil it regularly. A dirty filter = engine damage.
✅ Change your oil often
Every 5–10 hours. It’s the cheapest way to protect your engine.
✅ Look after your chain & sprockets
Clean, l**e, and keep tension right. Replace as a set.
✅ Warm up your engine
Don’t go full throttle cold—let it run and ease into your ride.
✅ Check your cooling system
Low coolant or blocked radiators = overheating trouble.
✅ Use quality motocross parts
Cheap parts wear faster and cost more long-term.
✅ Inspect bolts & bearings
Quick checks prevent bigger failures mid-ride.
✅ Ride smart
Smooth riding = less stress on your bike.
✅ Stay consistent
A simple maintenance routine beats expensive repairs.

🏁 Final tip: Small habits = big gains.
Take care of your bike and it’ll reward you with better performance, fewer breakdowns, and longer life.

Top 3 Signs your crank is failing.....

🔧 1. Knocking / Rumbling Noise from the Bottom End

A deep knocking, rumbling, or grinding sound coming from the engine (especially at low RPM) is a classic warning.
It usually means the big-end bearing or crank main bearings are worn or damaged.
The noise often gets louder under load or when you rev the engine.

👉 If it sounds like a dull metallic knock rather than a top-end “tick,” suspect the crank.

⚙️ 2. Excessive Vibration

A failing crankshaft or worn bearings will throw the engine out of balance.
You’ll feel more vibration than normal through the pegs, bars, and frame.
This is especially noticeable:

At mid‑range RPM
When accelerating

👉 Healthy motocross engines vibrate—but a bad crank produces a harsh, inconsistent vibration.

🛢️ 3. Metal Debris or Oil Contamination

When the crank bearings start breaking down, they shed material into the engine.
Signs include:

Shiny metal flakes in the oil
Contaminated gearbox oil (on 2-strokes)
Dirty oil shortly after a change

👉 This is often a late-stage warning, meaning damage is already occurring.

⚠️ Bonus Red Flags (Worth Keeping an Eye On)

Hard starting or loss of compression (due to crank seal failure)
Side-to-side play in the crank (if inspected)
Sudden power loss or inconsistent engine response

🚨 Quick Advice
If you notice any one of these signs, especially knocking or metal in oil:

Stop riding immediately
A failed crank can destroy the entire engine (cases, piston, cylinder)
