We have an excellent opportunity for an apprentice in a financial department of a successful national automotive parts distributor.
The Apprentice will work with Accounts Manager and be responsible for the many aspects of the business's admin from support to accountants by performing clerical tasks such as filing, handling mail, making phone calls, replying to emails, bookkeeping and bank reconciliation.
On completion of the apprenticeship the company is keen to progress the apprentice onto employment.
Skills Required
Previous experience with office software such as Excel spreadsheets would be an advantage.
Qualities Required
Reliable
Good time management
Hard working
Able to work as part of a team
Willingness to learn
Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
Qualifications Required
The ideal candidate will have GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or C and above or equivalent qualifications.
The ability to drive will be useful but not essential.
Training Provided
The successful candidate will study to complete a level 3 Apprenticeship in Financial Administration
An accounts assistant will work predominantly within the finance function of the organization.
This role is suited ideally for a school leaver
