This is Premier's live-fire test rig, mid-programme. No models, no simulations, no paper ratings — a rifle fixed at range, a certified doorset downrange, and an independent test laboratory recording exactly what happens when ammunition meets the product.

Premier Security's bullet-resistant doors, windows and glazing are independently tested to EN 1522 and EN 1523 at D J Goode of Suffolk, confirmed to FB4, FB6 and FB7, including armour-piercing 7.62 x 51mm AP rounds. Every rated product is backed by a formal test report, not a datasheet claim.

The correct industry term is bullet-resistant, not bulletproof. A rating certifies performance against a specific round, at a specific velocity, under defined test conditions — proven, not projected.

Four modified test containers have left Premier HQ, bound for Durham ahead of next week's live blast trials at RAF Spadeadam.

Each container has been purpose-engineered to house our blast-rated doorsets, windows and glazing systems — ready to face full-scale 100kg explosive loading under independently witnessed conditions.

This is where certification is earned. Not on a brochure page, but out on the range: real charges, real overpressures, and real data validating performance to EN 13541 and beyond.

Next stop, Spadeadam. We'll share what the results tell us.

Hostile vehicle mitigation usually stops at the perimeter — bollards, blockers, barriers. Our approach builds that protection directly into the façade. A fence marks a boundary. A security fence holds it.

Most fencing is made to be seen, not to stop anyone. Premier's is tested, not just installed — tested to LPS 1175, the same standard as our doors and gates. An SR rating tells you how long it holds an attacker back.
