🎨 THE BRIGHT FUTURE OF PAINT: LIVE LEARNING WITH GRAPHENSTONE
What are you really putting on the walls of your home when you choose a paint?
Paint is one of the most commonly used materials in our homes, yet very few of us stop to think about how it can affect indoor air quality, moisture, plastics, durability and even the environmental impact of our renovation.
Join us on Thursday 23 July at 12.30pm for our next Her Own Space live learning session with Benjamin Sturges, Commercial Director at Graphenstone Paints UK.
Together we’ll explore the difference between conventional acrylic paints and mineral based alternatives, helping you understand the questions to ask before making decisions for your own home.
During the session we’ll cover:
• What is really inside many modern paints, including plastics, VOCs, biocides and microplastics
• Why breathable paints matter, especially in older homes, solid walls and lime plastered properties
• How to make sense of environmental claims and product certifications
• The benefits of lime, silicate and mineral based paints
• How paint choices can affect the health of your home and your family
• Real life projects and examples of where these materials have been used successfully
There will also be plenty of time to ask your own questions, whether you’re renovating, planning improvements or simply want to make more informed choices for your home.
