Another bespoke staircase installation completed.
We fabricated the entire steel zig‑zag frame and upright system as one fully custom unit, built specifically for this stairwell. Every measurement, cut, and weld was done to suit the tight space and existing walls, giving the whole structure a clean, seamless fit from top to bottom.

The timber treads were supplied and fitted by others, but the steelwork was designed to take them perfectly — no adjustments needed once they went in. That’s the benefit of proper made‑to‑measure fabrication: everything lines up exactly where it should.

A challenging space, a lot of precision, and a really satisfying finish. Another solid bit of bespoke work.

Fresh steel going in.
We removed the existing roof structure and replaced it with a new steel frame to create a stronger, more open space for the next phase of the project.
From fabrication to installation, every beam was measured, cut, and fitted to spec — no shortcuts, no guesswork.

Big jobs like this are where good planning and clean fabrication really show.

Fresh steelwork fitted in Gypsy Hill — built in Croydon, installed to last.
This staircase and balcony system was fully fabricated in-house, welded for strength, and fitted clean on site. Solid anti‑slip treads, a sturdy handrail, and a finish that suits the character of the property.
