The Kino Flo Mimik provides the ability to work with image-based lighting; a video signal is fed into the Mimik; the result is the ability to mirror content while instantly applying a higher tonal and color rendering range to the image. This is particularly useful in VR environments where the lighting on a subject that needs to match that of a scene pre-lit in volume or VR generated world.

Launched in the UK at BSC 2026, Cineveam offer a series of soft boxes in round, square or lantern shapes. The Cineveam range has been described as being the ultimate beauty light.

The Cineveam lights are unique due to positioning of the LED diodes which are sewn to the inner fabric of the soft box. This light then bounces around the reflective inside of the soft box creating perfectly even soft light with no hot spot. Furthermore, the Cineveam lights are the quickest soft boxes to deploy in the world. The unique reverse umbrella mechanism takes seconds, literally, to set up the light and to be ready to film.
