Busy getting my head around this ZF8HP45 autobox conversion for the MX5 NC’s. Looking forward to getting this up and running, it’s actually quite mad that a Jaguar 8 speed box bolts straight up to the Mazda 2.0 Duratec! This might be a option we can offer once it’s perfected 😊

Shocked it’s been 337 days since I’ve posted anything here😳
SW Motorsport certainly has been extremely busy though, engine builds aplenty. Currently on 2017 final edition heading towards 650bhp, lovely P1 and RB5 just completed with 2.1 stroker mapped by John at Spool Motorsport.
My wee MX5 is heading for ZF 8HP autobox conversion with single paddle shift. Running around 400/400 the 6speed ain’t going to last in this spec.
Lastly December offered me a late life crisis 🤦‍♂️
Was rather smitten by a customer’s car so popped down south to purchase yet another vehicle a 2013 XKR Jaaaag!
Few mods and runs around 600bhp and 700Nms, certainly entertaining 😁
2026 isn’t looking to be any quieter either 🥵

Some winter upgrades on one of the mx5's. New inlet manifold fitted, it should be able to breathe a little better now!
