MEF is a leading UK distributor focusing on data centres and semi conductor factories. The company was founded in 1987 and employs 70 people across Edinburgh, Dublin and Belfast sites.

Over the last 35 years, MEF has focused on developing its product portfolio to meet its customers' high and varied demands. This focus has led to the company being particularly well-known in the market for innovative, high-quality solutions and excellent service.

The acquisition on November 1, 2023 is a significant step for us as Niedax Group to expand our business activities in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

We are currently seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and reliable person to join our busy team in Ballymena.

This will be a full-time position with a Company that prides itself on delivering great service to our customers, and looking after their loyal, hardworking employees.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

No previous knowledge is required of the electrical / mechanical wholesale industry, but a keen sense to learn new things, and good time keeping is essential.

A good all-round education will be required, with proficient numeracy, and writing.
Basic computing skills will be essential.
A clean driving licence would be an advantage.

Main responsibilities of the role:

· Maintaining excellent working relationships with existing customers

· Producing quotations and doing follow up reports.

· Resolving customer delivery queries, and concerns

· Build and maintain close working relationships with suppliers and customers.

· Answering telephone and email enquiries

· Negotiating with customers and suppliers to achieve the best price for both the company and the customer.

· Responsible for own administration

· Liaison with Sales Director on a continuous basis

· Self-Motivation and drive

· Identifying and developing improvements to your customer area

· Build and maintain a close working relationship with the staff across the company.

· A strong and continuous focus on business development

This is not an exhaustive list, and you are required to be flexible in your approach to carrying out your duties which may change time to time in order to reflect business need or for the company’s continuous improvement

You will have a good eye for detail and be able to work on your own initiative.

Mechanical & Electrical fixings ltd are a thriving business within the construction industry and we are looking for 1 / 2 stores staff to come join the team at our HQ depot within Bilston Glen Ind Est Loanhead.

No experience necessary, full training will be given, including forklift training.

Job consists of picking, packing and moving material ready for collection / delivery.

Business hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm & Friday 7am till 3.30pm weekly.

As the "Best from the East" starts to hopefully ease over the weekend we hope to return to as normal a service as possible on Monday at 8am. No doubt deliveries in some areas of the country will have it's challenges but rest assured we are trying where possible.
